  1. The only computers that are certain to have service contracts are Partner's workstations.
  2. If you are a researcher, UNLESS you can say YES to one of the following three statements, your computer is NOT covered.
    • My department/lab has arranged for a service contract covering this computer with an outside vendor such as Colonial business systems.
    • An extended warantee has been purchased for this computer
    • This computer is within its manufacturer's warrantee.
  3. If your computer isn't covered, your department might want to arrange for a service contract or to purchase extended warrantees through a company such as Colonial or even through Mac Connection.
