Shannon Turley

Shannon received her Ph.D. from Yale University where she studied with Ira Mellman in the Department of Cell Biology. After completing her graduate work, she worked at Bowdoin College as a Visiting Assistant Professor teaching two courses, Immunology and Emerging Infectious Diseases. Shannon then did her postdoctoral research in type-1 diabetes with Drs. Diane Mathis and Christophe Benoist at the Joslin Diabetes Center. She enjoys traveling, painting, hiking, cooking, and surfing.
