Novina Lab

Environment

O

ur newly opened lab is located on the 14th Floor of the Dana building. The research environment is composed of diverse research programs: the biology and applications of short RNAs (Novina Lab), T cell biology including T cell receptor complex assembly and signaling (Wucherpfennig Lab), antigen processing and presentation by dendritic cells (Turley Lab), innate immunity and toll receptor signaling (Kobayashi Lab), and immune cell migration and tetraspanin function (Hemler Lab). Scientists on Dana 14 work in a cross-disciplinary research environment with a focus on collaborative approaches to investigating diverse areas of immunology including modulating immune responses for potential medical applications such as cancer, autoimmunity, and immunodeficiency. There are several collaborative efforts between the labs on the 14th floor and with members of the Harvard community. We have weekly Floor Meetings and Social hour on the first and third Fridays of each month; members of the HMS community and applicants to Dana 14th laboratories are welcome at both events.
