Byeong-moo Kim

Byeong-Moo Kim's interests lie in developmental biology and stem cells. Before joining DFCI, Kim was a researcher in the Department of Pharmacology at Inha University in Korea, where he conducted research on differentiation of pancreatic beta-cells and pancreas regeneration. Currently, Kim is investigating the effects of the homeodomain transcription factors Barx1 in stomach development. Kim graduated with his PhD in Anatomy & Histology from Inha University, where he completed his thesis on "Clusterin Actions during the Process of Tissue Remodeling in Pancreas".
